Fun Fall Activities to Do in Las Vegas
Fall in Las Vegas
Looking for fun things to do in Las Vegas during fall? Vegas is known for its beautiful desert landscape, but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the fall season here! From orchards and pumpkin patches, to spooky halloween things, and leaf-peeping foliage hikes, there are tons of festive fall activities in Las Vegas for you to enjoy!
Orchards, pumpkin patches, farms, and wineries
What could be more festive than picking apples and pumpkins at the farm or taste-testing your way through the wineries? This may come as a surprise, but yes, there are orchards, farms, and wineries in the Las Vegas desert!
Gilcrease Orchard
Gilcrease Orchard is a family-owned 60-acre orchard located 25 minuted from the Las Vegas strip. You can pick-your-own seasonal fruits and vegetables, and snap as many photos as you like! In the fall you can pick sunflowers, apples, pomegranates, and pumpkins, wander through their newly installed corn maze, and purchase homemade apple cider and doughnuts. Admission is free, you only pay for what you take home!
Seasonal Adventures Pumpkin Patch
This is an adorable little pumpkin patch, but it’s definitely geared solely towards children. They have cute kiddie rides as well as a food truck that offers carnival-style treats like candy apples and funnel cake, along with some fast food options. Aside from that, the did a beautiful job decorating and creating mini photo-ops, so if you missed out on photo opportunities at Gilcrease, you can always come here to pose with some fun pumpkin displays!
Halloweentown Pumpkin Patch
This pumpkin patch is more of a parking lot carnival with a pumpkin tent. However, there are a good selection of rides and games for both kids and adults, as well as a food tent that offers a selection of fast food options and carnival treats like funnel cake. They do have a large selection of pumpkins to purchase at the tent, so if you missed out on getting yours from Gilcrease, you can always head here!
The Las Vegas Farm
This family-owned farm is open weekends only from 9am-4pm and offers a full farmers market (free entry) selection of seasonal produce and baked goods as well as a farm where you can visit a wide variety of animals from pigs, cows, goats, peacocks, and more for a small entry fee ($8 for ages 13+ and $4 for ages 12 and under).
Vegas Valley Winery
Vegas Valley winery is Las Vegas’ first and only winery! While they don’t have a vineyard for you to wander through, they do offer winery tours, tastings, events, and you can even make your own wine!

Freakling Bros: Trilogy of Terror
Freakling Bros: Trilogy of Terror is a series of three haunted interactive attractions that range in extremity so you can choose the experience that suits you best. Castle Vampyre is the least extreme and combines horror, magic, and illusion for a nostalgic Halloween feel. Coven of Thirteen is an ode to the classic witches and warlocks that combines the illusions of black magic, creative staging, and claustrophobic scenes. Gates of Hell is the most intense attraction of them all, which is why it’s rated R and is not suited for anyone who is afraid of being touched, or shocked (literally). Tickets are $50 for all three attractions + bonuses.
Asylum and Hotel Fear
Asylum and Hotel Fear are interactive haunted attractions designed to scare the crap out of you! These themes stay true to their name, but they also share an interconnected storyline so you can’t go through one without the other. Tickets range in price based on date and time. Calico is an old western mining town that was abandoned in the mid-1980s after silver lost its value. The decaying ruins give you a historic look at what western life was like back then.
