Things to do at Sunset Station
Gamble
Obviously it’s a casino first and foremost, so you’ll be able to gamble to your heart’s content here (if you’re into that). Personally we don’t gamble but every now and then it’s fun to play the slots in hopes of hitting big on accident (fingers crossed).
Bar hop
There are tons of bars throughout Sunset Station! See the next section for a full list.
Enjoy the outdoor pool
If you couldn’t tell by my photos, I LOVED the outdoor pool at Sunset Station! I honestly think it’s their best feature, which seems fitting because Station Casino’s pools do not disappoint! The entire pool area is surrounded by lush greenery and palm trees (my fave). There is plenty of seating both in and outside of the pool (including regular lounge beach chairs and covered cabanas available for booking), the water is the perfect temperature, their pool bar makes excellent drinks, and the staff is wonderful! (Tip: Ask Joe for the best photo spots. He may even swing by with some pool floats and a spray bottle filled with cold water to help cool you off - he’s the sweetest!)
See a movie
Sunset Station has a Regal IMAX Movie Theatre attached to its casino so you can catch all of the latest blockbusters during your stay!
Go bowling
Not only does Sunset Station have a movie theater inside, but they also have a bowling alley as well! You can score yourself some strikes at the Strike Zone Bowling Alley, shoot some pool, or play games in the arcade. Don’t forget to stop by for cosmic bowling on weekends!
Play games
Aside from your typical casino games, Sunset Station also offers pool, bingo, keno, and more!

My thoughts on the Sunset Station Hotel and Casino experience
We loved our stay at Sunset Station! The staff was fun and friendly, the views were beautiful, and the location could not have been more perfect (about 10 minutes from our new home in Henderson)! My only 2 negatives would be that the casino wifi was a bit slow and there are no fridges in the rooms, but other than that everything was great!
Overall, Sunset Station has something for everyone, it’s the perfect place for singles, groups, couples, and even families with kids. So whether you’re looking for a relaxing local Henderson staycation, or a quiet retreat that’s tucked away from the buzz of Las Vegas strip, Sunset Station is a great hotel choice for you!
